Our Inspiration
There are too many stories where execution of the fundamentals has stopped businesses from bringing good into the world. It is an unacceptable loss for a vision to fail when the strategy and purpose are sound but the fundamentals and execution slip.
Only that which contributes to a startup’s unique value proposition should be approached in a novel way; best practices should inform the execution of all other business functions as those can only facilitate or detract from the value proposition rather than creating unique value themselves. This is what we do; we build those fundamentals.
Our Founder
SCOTT INNES | FOUNDER + CEO
With experience in finance and corporate development, and having successfully built and sold a business, I am ready and keen to support Canadian founders achieve their visions for a better world.
After gaining a strong foundation in investment banking, I co-built the largest global aerial solar inspections business. Bootstrapped from idea to exit, I served as CFO, while guiding strategy, operations, governance, and HR. I ran parallel sale and equity raise processes, culminating in the successful sale of the business to the world's largest solar operations company. As we integrated the businesses, I transitioned to lead the corporate development function at the operations company where I advised on strategic direction and M&A opportunities.
InteCorr has been a long-standing vision of mine, and I am thrilled to now be building it.
